Three Running tips I learned from my new trainer: 1. Randomly laugh for minutes at time for no apparent reason. 2. Always check to see if you are being tracked my a bear or racoon. 3. I told Wil he couldn’t ride his bike with me while I run because the road has icey spots so he was determined to show me that he can run along side me now.
After I got home from my run he told me with confidence that he was going for a run now. After getting him into running shoes instead of cowboy boots he took off down the road.
Doing hard things and pushing his body - made his papa proud.

BIG 50! My first gift of the day was getting to see Leidy be sworn in as a US Citizen in the morning - second gift was a relaxing afteroon/evening with wifey at our favorite hotsprings retreat - final gift was a fun celebration with my kiddos to end the night.
One of my bucket list goals before I turned 50 was to complete the 25 mile Rim to Rim hike in the Grand Canyon in one day - I was fortunate to have the most incredble experience checking that off my list three months before my birtday.
Life is good, Life is GREAT! I am grateful for good health and for experinces in my 50 years of life that push my body and remind me of Gods great gift of being alive on this earth.

“I’m going to be a beard guy!”. His goals in life right now are to be the first person with Down syndrome on Mars and to have a full beard before his 12th birthday.
When he gives me a a kiss at night he tells me sorry because his believe his microscopic beard hairs are pokey 😂 Love this kid and the way he sees life.

This is Wil’s new phrase. He knows his dad isn’t as generous with kisses as he is, so after he gives me one, he likes to remind me to give him one back by saying, ‘Kiss me like a man!’ 😂
This kid has so much love to give. Even if I go out to the shop for an hour, he gets as excited to see me as if I’d been gone for months.
