Waking up knowing that we were on our way back home was tough. Nikki and I were looking forward to our nice beds but couldn’t help but feel a little remiss over the thought of not waking up in a new location, wondering where Wil would fly today. The kids were ready for home, they missed their friends, their toys, and that sense of stability that they tried to describe but could not put into words. A place to call home is pretty important for a lot of reasons and I was glad to know they missed that security.
What an adventure this “Wil Can Fly” tour has been for my family and I. We have made so many new friends, and memories and were able to capture enough “Wil Can Fly” photos to support our original plan of creating “Wil Can Fly” calendars for the next three years! A big THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to our Kick Starter and made this a reality, we couldn’t have done it without you.
The Wil Can Fly tour has come to an end but we know that Wil is going to keep flying and teaching our family so many great things in the years to come.

Our dog Annie was a little mad that we left her for so long – this picture says it all.
