There are some major advantages to having a child who can fly. We didn’t have cell service on our hike in Henry Cowell State Park and we managed to get lost on our way back. I didn’t feel comfortable having Wil fly ahead to find the right trail but he did manage to fly above the Redwoods and point us in the right direction. Henry Cowell State Park is a hidden gem. We only spent half the day there but we managed to get on some beautiful trails. 
After our hike in Henry Cowell, we boogied over to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. We didn’t have as much time as we would have liked at the Boardwalk but since Zac was too afraid to go on the Screamer in California Adventure, he was able to redeem himself by going on the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster. After the ride, he told us he wasn’t scared at all and that he didn’t scream. Hmm….sure looked like he was screaming to me (see photo below) :0)
